Thanks for the kind words. The thing you really want to get right when worldbuilding is grounding all the crazy ideas with characters the reader can relate to. Nova is a dreamer who wants to escape in order to explore a new world. Sirius is the protective older brother who just wants the best for his sister.
And you want to have a good villain, of course. OMNI is the embodiment of all the wonderful corporations that prey on us daily. Here’s an easter egg- if you look closely on the Eyebots, you’ll find an interesting parallel with the iPhone.
“How many issues of Beyond The Beyond can we expect? “
You can expect 4 issues total, and readers are definitely going to get a bang for their buck. The first issue is 28 pages long, and each subsequent issue is going to be over 30 pages each.
“Where did you pull inspiration from as your created Beyond The Beyond?”
I came up with the idea when I was 16, taking the sense of alienation I was feeling at the time and translating into this young girl who felt the same way. Nova’s goal is to escape from a world she doesn’t believe in, in order to explore the cosmos. I think all young people can relate to the desire of breaking away from home in order to find themselves.
“I love the atmosphere you’ve created here, The Omni Corporation give me this unnerving vibe with the visuals in the panels, what a well rounded and a solid first issue, but i need to know, what can we expect after Issue #1 hits the shelves in early March?”
You can expect Nova to challenge the black hole that stands in the way from her destination. While being the good big brother he is, Sirius is going to chase after her. He’s trying to save
Nova from the dangers of running away from home, let alone in deep space. And of course, OMNI is watching this all play out.
In addition to the space adventures, readers are going to get their first glimpse of the alien world, the Misty Planet. It’s an alien world unlike you’ve ever seen before, and I’m not going to spoil a single thing about it. I think fans of science fiction are really going to enjoy what’s to come.
